About this course
The course introduces core accounting terminology and principles through small business examples. Topics include bookkeeping, simple transactions, cash handling, accounting equations and double-entry methods. Step-by-step tutor guidance, practical examples and individual tasks are used to develop basic accounting skills. Participants will also work with capital, assets, liabilities, stock, revenue and expenses, including the preparation of a simple balance sheet.
