About this course
Participants explore acting through drama games, improvisation, movement and work with scripts. Activities vary between whole-group, small-group, paired and individual exercises, with opportunities to perform for an audience and practise communicating meaningfully. Teaching is practice-based and includes regular verbal feedback, observation and question-and-answer activities. The course also introduces aspects of actor training, rehearsals and the work of an actor.
