Acting Taster Classes

About this course

This one-off workshop introduces core acting techniques through practical exercises in voice, movement, improvisation and script work. Participants practise developing believable characters and performing in front of others, with activities structured for learners at different levels of experience. The session takes place in a group setting and also provides an overview of how the provider’s acting classes are organised. Participants can discuss the acting industry and possible progression routes with the tutor.

Is this course right for you?

The class is designed for complete beginners and people with some previous acting experience. As a practical group taster, it involves taking part in acting exercises and performing in front of others rather than observing a demonstration.

Before you go

• Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.
