About this course
The course develops practical approaches to reading, writing, maths and general learning. Learners explore ways to understand information more easily, including breaking words into sounds and identifying key words. Writing activities focus on organising ideas with planning frames and using spell-check support. The sessions also introduce assistive technologies and memory techniques, alongside methods for staying organised and completing learning tasks. Personalised guidance is provided in a supportive setting, allowing learners to work at their own pace. The course may complement another programme when additional learning support is needed.
