About this course
Participants develop technical control across advanced snare drum work, drum kit coordination, groove development and approaches associated with different musical genres. The course includes live tutor demonstrations, video and audio examples, and transcriptions to support practical study. Content is adapted to participants’ experience and goals, with attention to applying rudiments in varied styles and accompanying other musicians with greater stylistic awareness.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for experienced drummers working at an advanced level. Learners are expected to have around three years’ playing experience, familiarity with rolls, paradiddles, flams and drags, and basic music-reading skills.

- Requires participation in the second term of lessons

- Two drum kits and drum pads are provided for each student.
