About this course

Participants use the studio to develop existing printmaking projects and explore ideas within a small-group setting. Teaching combines individual discussions with tutors, presentations, group critiques and feedback from tutors and peers. The course allows sustained development of a personal practice, with occasional advice or instruction on particular techniques and processes. Critical discussion supports the review and refinement of work, while participants can continue developing their projects independently between sessions if they wish.

What you'll learn

  • Develop personal printmaking projects through sustained studio practice.
  • Refine printmaking skills and the professional standard of finished work.
  • Use tutor and peer feedback to review and advance individual projects.
  • Evaluate printmaking ideas and work through critiques and group discussion.
