About this course

Participants learn the fundamentals of aerial silks, working with two lengths of fabric to create dynamic shapes and supported positions. The course introduces movements involving wrapping, suspension, falling, swinging and spiralling, with teaching focused on developing basic aerial technique through movement on the apparatus. As learners progress, the course can incorporate creative expression within aerial sequences. Teachers assess readiness for progression to Level 2.
