About this course

The course develops aerial silks technique through the application and consolidation of existing circus skills. Participants work on connecting individual movements, building sequences and shaping them into short routines, with an emphasis on more dynamic performance material. Teaching focuses on putting technical skills into practice while extending circus knowledge and refining movement quality within the aerial silks discipline.

Is this course right for you?

This advanced course is intended for learners who have successfully completed Level 2 and been signed off by their teacher. Those with relevant experience who have not trained at the centre may be directed towards an aerial assessment before joining an advanced course.

  • Requires successful completion of Level 2 and teacher sign-off
  • An aerial assessment may be relevant for experienced learners entering at an advanced level

Before you go

  • Wear comfortable clothing such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms with a T-shirt or vest.
  • Clean indoor trainers are requested.
  • For aerial classes, clothing covering the limbs, such as long sleeves and leggings, is advised.
