About this course
This family-style class explores Afghan cooking through shared preparation of dishes such as mantu and ashak dumplings, borani bajan, chicken kebab, dum pukht rice, salate, doogh and firni. Each participant chooses one dish to focus on, then has the opportunity to assist with other recipes while moving around the kitchen and learning from the wider menu. The session concludes with a sit-down meal shared with the chef, facilitator and volunteers.
