Algerian Cookery Class

About this course

Participants work together in the kitchen to prepare a selection of Algerian recipes, choosing one dish to focus on while helping with others and learning from the wider menu. Possible dishes include Tagine Zitoun, Chorba Frik, bourek, rekhsas flatbread and samsa b-louz pastries, although the menu may change. The class introduces the social character of Algerian cooking through shared preparation and a sit-down meal at the end. The menu reflects North African, Mediterranean and French influences, including stews, soup, flatbread and pastries.
