About this course

The course introduces frame-by-frame and stop-motion animation alongside techniques including weaving loops, strata-cut animation and phenakistoscopes. Participants explore animation principles and the role of an animation director while developing a short music video or visualiser. Sessions combine practical activities with presentations, covering idea pitching, production planning, editing and promotion. The course also addresses how different animation methods can be combined within one project, from initial concept through to a finished short.
