Arabic 3 lower: module 2

About this course

Taught mainly through spoken interaction, the course uses pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Discussion topics include news and broadcasting, climate, the environment, holiday plans, Libya’s Great Man-Made River and life in Gulf countries. Learners examine grammatical cases on nouns and adjectives, comparisons, future negative verbs, and the use of “ina” and “itha” for future possibilities. Activities also develop strategies for requesting repetition or clarification when language is unfamiliar or responses are unexpected.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for learners at Intermediate (B1) level who have completed Arabic 3 lower: module 1, studied Arabic for around three years recently, or developed equivalent competence. Participants should be able to follow simple instructions and explanations in English, use numbers for everyday activities, and engage with basic grammar terminology.
