Arabic beginners: module 3

About this course

The course develops practical Arabic through spoken interaction, pair and group activities, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Learners work with everyday topics including food, shopping, colours, feelings, preferences and restaurant conversations, while revising earlier material.

What you'll learn

• Use numbers from one to ten with nouns in everyday contexts
• Construct simple Arabic conversations using singular present and past forms
• Form negative statements with la and ma
• Describe materials and the colours of Arab countries’ flags
• Express feelings, likes and dislikes, including preferences about food
• Read and write basic Arabic sentences such as shopping lists and restaurant menus

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners who have completed Arabic Beginners modules 1 and 2, or who have equivalent knowledge. The Beginner (A1) label indicates an early stage of language learning, but the stated progression means it is not aimed at learners starting Arabic from scratch.
