About this course
The course introduces spoken Arabic for everyday situations, including greetings, introductions, simple questions, shopping, ordering food and drink, numbers, directions and basic travel exchanges. Learners practise common phrases, sentence patterns and essential vocabulary while gaining an introduction to Arab cultures and customs. Teaching combines speaking and listening activities, role play and everyday dialogues in a small adult group. Tutor feedback supports classroom practice, with audio and video materials available for study between sessions.
