What Pre-intermediate (A2+) Arabic means

At A2+ Arabic, learners can connect simple sentences, give reasons and manage a wider range of familiar situations.

    I prefer travelling by train because it is more comfortable and I can read.

  • Handle a small problem

    الغرفة باردة جداً. هل يمكنكم فحص التدفئة؟

About this course

The course focuses on communicating about news, broadcasting, social media, political debates, speeches, war and conflict. Participants also explore formal Arabic used in media and aspects of the Gulf region and Yemen. Teaching combines spoken activities, group work and role-plays with systematic study of media-related language structures, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The teacher uses Arabic throughout the lessons, giving learners opportunities to develop comprehension and listening skills.
