What Pre-intermediate (A2+) Arabic means

At A2+ Arabic, learners can connect simple sentences, give reasons and manage a wider range of familiar situations.

  • Explain a preference

أفضل السفر بالقطار لأنه أكثر راحة ويمكنني القراءة فيه.

I prefer travelling by train because it is more comfortable and I can read.

  • Handle a small problem

الغرفة باردة جداً. هل يمكنكم فحص التدفئة؟

The room is very cold. Could you check the heating?

  • Describe an experience

زرت القاهرة العام الماضي وأعجبتني هندستها المعمارية كثيراً.

Last year I visited Cairo and really liked its architecture.

These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.

About this course

The course develops Arabic for conversations about weather, holidays, trips, camping and family travel plans, alongside writing postcards and discussing adventures. Language content includes the future tense and plural verb forms, with a cultural focus on a tour in Marrakesh.
