Arabic Level 3 | Afternoons

About this course

The course develops everyday Arabic through topics including eating and drinking, favourite cuisines, restaurant conversations and talking about yesterday. Learners practise communicative phrases, questions using “what”, the past tense, group words, and plural and joint cases. Teaching combines spoken communication with systematic work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension and listening. Lessons include group activities, role-plays and a real or virtual tour of an Arabic restaurant. The teacher uses Arabic throughout, and the course follows a slower, less intensive pace than the provider’s evening Level 3 course.

Is this course right for you?

This Elementary (A2) course is intended for learners who have already studied Arabic. Previous completion of Arabic Level 2 or a course of at least 24 class hours is required. Lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with the teacher speaking Arabic throughout.
