About this course

The course develops Arabic through topics including directions, cities, countries and nationalities, numbers, and buying and selling. Learners practise asking questions and discussing quantities while studying present-tense negation, sun and moon letters, the genitive case, Hamza spelling, Idafa and the dual form. Teaching combines spoken communication with group activities and role-plays. The teacher uses Arabic throughout the lessons to develop comprehension and listening, while grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation are addressed systematically. Cultural content includes locating and exploring the Arab World on a map.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for Elementary (A2) learners who are continuing their Arabic studies. Previous study of Arabic Level 4, or a course comprising at least 48 class hours, is required. Lessons involve group work, role-plays and communication in Arabic, alongside structured language study.
