About this course
The course introduces the 28-letter Arabic alphabet, including the sounds, shapes and formation patterns associated with each letter. Learners practise how letters change according to their position in a word, join letters to create words, and write their own name in Arabic. Teaching combines spoken interaction with pair and group activities, supported by presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is highly recommended to reinforce work covered in class.
