About this course

The course develops aural musicianship through practical exercises in listening, singing, clapping and notation. Learners work on recognising scale degrees in major and minor scales, identifying intervals and understanding modal scale structures. Sight-singing activities are combined with aural dictation, including memorising and writing down simple melodies and rhythms.
