What Upper Intermediate (B2) French means

At B2 French, learners can communicate fluently on concrete and abstract topics, develop arguments and respond in detail.

• Support a viewpoint

  Même si cette mesure avait un coût initial, elle profiterait à toute la collectivité à long terme.

  Although the measure would have an initial cost, it would benefit the whole community in the long term.

• Discuss an abstract issue

  La technologie facilite la communication, mais elle soulève aussi des questions de confidentialité.

  Technology makes communication easier, but it also raises questions about privacy.

• Negotiate a solution

  Si nous repoussons l’échéance d’une semaine, nous pourrons respecter le budget sans réduire la qualité.

  If we extend the deadline by a week, we can keep the budget without reducing quality.
