Bachata - Improvers

About this course

This improvers-level course develops Bachata beyond its foundation steps, introducing quicker footwork and the modern, sensual elements of the style. Sessions focus on partnerwork, including turn patterns, and explore how leading and following affect the dance. Learners practise with a variety of partners and work on transferring class practice into performance. Teaching takes place through participation in a studio setting, with technique developed alongside the social aspects of Bachata.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for learners with some Bachata experience or those who have completed a beginners course. Participation involves partnerwork, practising with different people and working on both leading and following.

• Learners work with a variety of partners
