About this course
The course develops pre-intermediate ballet technique through structured barre and centre work. Participants practise alignment, coordination, turnout and port de bras, then apply these skills to longer sequences and dynamic variations. Teaching includes group and unison exercises that address musical phrasing, spatial awareness and coordinated movement. Learners work with combinations using contrasting qualities such as adagio and allegro, as well as centre sequences requiring the retention and performance of more extended choreography.
