About this course
Participants work through increasingly complex ballet floor barre exercises designed to refine coordination between the upper and lower body, smooth transitions and spatial awareness. Layered progressions keep the sequence accessible to newer learners while extending the technical challenge. The course explores varied rhythms and time signatures, with attention to musical phrasing, alignment, turnout, breath support and purposeful arm movements. Anatomical principles are linked to efficient movement, while historical and cross-genre references provide wider stylistic context.
What you'll learn

- Coordinate upper- and lower-body movements through transitions and more complex exercises
- Apply musical phrasing across different rhythms and time signatures
