Ballet: from studio to stage (intermediate)

About this course

Classes develop ballet technique through barre and centre exercises focused on strength, turnout, balance and dynamic control. Learners then build a demanding choreographic work in stages, working on intricate sequences, transitions, timing and musical phrasing. The choreography includes unison and ensemble formations, requiring attention to spatial arrangement and coordination. Technical elements are revisited during the course while learners work towards performing the complete piece with controlled, expressive movement.
