This course brings ballet technique into a performance context. Participants work through rehearsed routines to refine their technique and expression, while developing stage presence, musical interpretation and coordination within a group. The emphasis is on preparing and presenting choreographed material rather than isolated technical exercises. An end-of-term performance provides an optional opportunity to apply this work in front of an audience.
