About this course
The course introduces basic figures and technique from a selection of Ballroom and Latin dances, which may include Waltz, Tango, Social Foxtrot, Jive, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Quickstep, Rumba and Paso Doble. Learners practise matching dance styles to different music and develop an understanding of dance etiquette. Teaching combines verbal explanation with teacher demonstrations, individual practice and partnered work.
