About this course
The course explores construction methods for multi-strand necklaces and bracelets. Participants will work with bead stringing wire, cotton cord, silk thread and elastic, including different elastic thicknesses and the use of French Wire for starting and finishing pieces. Teaching combines demonstrations, project sheets, tutor guidance and group discussion. The course also introduces the findings used in multi-strand jewellery and considers relevant materials, tools, artists and sources of inspiration.
