About this course
Learners explore Outlook 365 through guided, step-by-step tasks completed individually and with other students. The course covers composing and formatting emails, attachments, signatures, folders, contacts, calendars, reminders and task lists. It also introduces safe email practices, Outlook security features and responsibilities under the Data Protection Act. The course is designed for learners with basic digital skills and no prior knowledge of Outlook, while also accommodating those who have used it at a basic level.
What you'll learn
- Send, receive, format and organise emails using folders and signatures
- Attach and safely download files and folders
- Manage contacts, calendar appointments, reminders and task lists
- Apply basic security practices when sending and receiving email
- Recognise relevant legal responsibilities, including implications of the Data Protection Act
