About this course
Learners explore how cloud storage changes the way files are shared and managed, using OneDrive with Word, Excel and Microsoft Forms, alongside Google Drive and Docs. The course covers sharing permissions, co-editing, version changes, error correction, file organisation and account security, with some alternatives such as Dropbox and Flickr if time allows. Teaching is step by step, with learners completing tasks independently and with classmates while receiving tutor guidance. Activities also include using Microsoft Forms to collate data and syncing accounts across devices. Work outside class is supported through Google Classroom.
