About this course

Participants practise extracting information from charts, tables and graphs, including everyday examples such as timetables and bar charts. The course also covers collecting and organising data through tally charts, comparing figures and prices, and calculating totals and simple averages. Problem-solving activities are supported by the development of maths vocabulary in English, helping learners discuss data. Teaching is guided by a tutor, with learners working at their own pace.
