About this course

The course develops practical number skills through situations linked to health and care. Activities include calculating quantities, measuring and recording amounts, reading appointment times, and interpreting simple charts, labels and other information. Learners also practise maths vocabulary in English for communication in health and care settings. Teaching combines guided practice with real-life problem-solving, allowing learners to work at their own pace with tutor support.
