About this course

The course develops everyday maths skills through activities linked to cooking, measuring spaces and planning tasks. Learners practise measuring length, weight and capacity, recognising common two- and three-dimensional shapes, and applying simple calculations to familiar situations. Teaching includes guided practice at an individual pace, with attention to estimating, checking results and using English vocabulary for measurements and shapes.
