About this course

The workshop introduces sewing-machine operation from the beginning, including threading, adjusting settings and producing a practical tote bag. It then moves into garment-making, using test samples and a small-scale calico garment to practise essential construction methods. The teaching combines demonstrations with guided making, giving learners an introduction to techniques used in simple sewing projects and clothesmaking.
