About this course
Participants learn street dance foundations through follow-along practice, with basic grooves, steps and body isolations introduced before moving into choreography. Instructors break routines into sections, repeat them with the group and gradually increase the difficulty across the course. The programme includes several short routines and longer pieces, with opportunities to revisit and extend previously taught material. Classes are structured progressively rather than as separate drop-in sessions, allowing learners to develop a repertoire of routines while working to music.
What you'll learn
- Perform foundational street dance grooves and basic steps
- Use body isolations within street dance movement
- Break down and practise choreography in sections
- Perform short and extended routines to music
