About this course
The course revisits foundational bellydance movements before extending them into longer combinations and a simple routine. Learners practise coordinating hip, chest and arm movements, linking at least six movements into continuous sequences and responding to changes in rhythm, tempo and musical phrasing. Sessions also address smooth transitions and awareness of shared space. A choreographed piece lasting around 1½ to 2 minutes is introduced and rehearsed with music, including work in a small group formation.
