Bollywood Dance Course

About this course

Classes introduce the movement vocabulary of Bollywood dance through rhythmic footwork, expressive hand gestures, facial expression and coordinated full-body movement. Participants learn short sequences progressively, combining them into a choreographed routine by the end of the course. The course draws on Indian dance traditions, popular Bollywood performance and contemporary influences. Teaching focuses on timing, musicality, body control and performance energy, with learners practising choreography in a group setting.
