About this course
The course introduces hand bookbinding through demonstrations followed by practical exercises. Learners explore bookbinding techniques, structures, ways of working and the functions of different parts of a book. Teaching includes group discussion, one-to-one tuition and regular tutor feedback. The course also covers the handling and use of bookbinding tools and materials, with advice provided during the classes.
