Booker Prize Winners

About this course

The course considers how novels become classics and why some continue to be read while others fade from view. Participants will study five Booker Prize-winning works in depth, including Last Orders by Graham Swift, The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga and Milkman by Anna Burns; two further titles are to be confirmed. Sessions combine a short tutor introduction with informal, focused discussion, supported where appropriate by background reading, videos and other illustrative material.
