About this course
The course develops Brazilian Portuguese across listening, speaking, reading and writing, with particular attention to past tenses, colloquial and formal language, and oral communication. Learners will work with everyday topics including holidays, health, work and past events. Teaching uses spoken interaction, pair and group activities, role play, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Written projects and homework are included to consolidate the language covered in class.

The course is intended for learners at Elementary (A2) level who have studied Portuguese for about a year recently. Participants should be able to communicate in basic everyday situations and express themselves using simple present, past and future forms.
