About this course
The course develops Brazilian Portuguese for everyday communication, with further work on grammar, different past-tense forms, and colloquial and formal language. Learners practise speaking, listening, reading and writing through pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Topics include describing past events, discussing recent activities and talking about holiday plans. Homework is highly recommended to consolidate the language covered in class.

This course is intended for learners at Elementary (A2) level who have studied Brazilian Portuguese for about a year recently. Participants should already be able to communicate in basic everyday situations and use simple present, past and future forms. Classes involve spoken interaction, pair work, group work, role plays and games.
