About this course
The course develops reading, writing, speaking and listening through spoken interaction and communication-based activities, including pair work, group work, role plays and games. Learners review and consolidate grammar such as past tense, relative clauses, impersonal clauses and structures using the subjunctive. Vocabulary and discussion topics are selected with the group at the start of the course. Work with dialogues, authentic audio and video material, and newspaper articles supports listening and reading practice, alongside opportunities to express opinions and ideas.
