About this course
The course develops spoken Brazilian Portuguese for common travel situations, including introductions, shopping, eating out, accommodation, transport, directions and seeking help with health-related symptoms. It also introduces vocabulary for discussing Carnival and explores related cultural topics. Teaching centres on communication through pair and group work, role plays and games. Learners practise handling everyday exchanges such as buying tickets, asking about prices and departure information, and ordering food and drinks.
