About this course

The course focuses on writing for everyday situations, including messages, emails, short notes and simple forms. Participants practise organising ideas into sentences and paragraphs, using basic grammar and punctuation, and reviewing their work to identify spelling and grammar errors. Learning is guided by a tutor and takes place at each learner’s pace. The course is intended to help ESOL learners prepare for a Getting Ready for Functional Skills English course.
