About this course
The course focuses on writing clear sentences and short paragraphs for everyday communication, including messages, emails, notes and simple forms. Participants practise organising ideas, applying basic grammar and punctuation, and reviewing their work to identify spelling and grammatical errors. Learning is guided by a tutor, with opportunities to work at an individual pace. The course is intended to help ESOL learners prepare for a Getting Ready or Functional Skills English course.
