About this course
The workshop revisits coplas one to four of Sevillanas, with attention to variations, stylistic detail and performance approach. Participants learn through tutor-demonstrated movement patterns, repetition and guided practice, responding to flamenco and Spanish dance rhythms with stamping, clapping and sequences, with or without castanets. Teaching is available in the studio or via live stream. The session includes opportunities for discussion and tutor feedback, and a recording is provided to support practice afterwards.
What you'll learn
- Demonstrate all four coplas of Sevillanas.
- Develop coordination, strength, flexibility and stamina through Sevillanas practice.
- Perform the four coplas with greater stylistic detail and personal expression.
