About this course
The course develops receptive, productive and conversational BSL through topics including social, work and school routines, eating and drinking, shopping, travel and holidays. Sessions combine interactive teaching, question-and-answer activities, signed video clips, resources on Google Classroom and individual feedback. Learners will practise BSL grammar and features, use vocabulary and hand shapes accurately, apply facial expression, manage turn-taking and clarification, tell a short story and respond to a signed story. The course includes opportunities to take the three Signature Level 2 assessments: receptive, productive and conversational skills.
