About this course
This course examines ways to organise information, manage email and schedule work more efficiently in Outlook. Participants practise folder systems, Quick Steps, rules, conditional formatting, categories, colour coding, flags, reminders, recurring appointments, templates, mail merge, distribution groups and search functions. They also explore linking email, calendars and Microsoft To Do, alongside integrating Outlook with OneNote. Teaching is task-based and step by step, with learners completing activities independently and collaboratively while receiving guidance from the tutor.

- Organise Outlook messages using folders, Quick Steps, rules, categories, colour coding and conditional formatting
- Schedule work and track priorities with calendars, notes, tasks, flags, reminders and recurring appointments

- Apply templates, mail merge, distribution groups and search functions to streamline administration
- Exchange information between Outlook and OneNote, including sending notes and inserting meetings
