About this course
The course examines how to start, grow and manage a small creative business. Topics include market research, advertising and marketing, incorporation, reporting requirements, intellectual property, management structures, accounting, cash flow, financial projections, funding and investment. Teaching combines lectures with workshops and group activities. Participants work on business models, marketing strategies, pitches and presentations, with assigned homework between classes.
