About this course

The course examines the main stages of starting and running a small business. Participants develop a business plan, set objectives, identify required resources and consider funding options, professional support and business operations. Teaching combines step-by-step guidance, real-world examples and individual tasks. Topics include branding, internet and social media marketing, cash-flow forecasting, break-even calculations, tax, National Insurance and regulations. The course also considers how AI tools can assist with business planning, development and growth.
