About this course
Participants learn the core stages of decorating a cake, including torting, filling and crumb coating, before applying a professional fondant cover. The course also explores how to use fondant decorations and work with buttercream to create finished cakes. Teaching combines practical tasks with tutor observation, individual guidance, group discussion, peer feedback and question-and-answer activities. Learners also receive feedback through self-assessment and practical projects.
